Meet Eliana!
Age: 13 — Instruments played: Piano, Voice
Favorite artist: Lennon & Maisy (they sound amazing when harmonizing)
Favorite song: “You Say” Christian song by Lauren Daigle
What Eliana likes most about music lessons is that her instructor Susan supports her Christian faith in their learning experience together, and she likes to practice pretty much anytime she is free! Eliana looks forward to being a Christian artist when she is older, and believes that music can be a positive force for our world in sharing her faith with others. When she is not making music, Eliana enjoys horse back riding.
Eliana’s Instructor Susan truly enjoys teaching her because she really has a passion for music, especially singing and playing for herself. Susan says that Eliana has a ton of natural God given talent and she really sings from her heart. Her family is very supportive of her developing all of her music skills (in fact, the whole family is very musically talented!). It’s not easy to sing and play, but Eliana has really developed her skills in this respect over the past year. She also loves to play challenging piano pieces, and simply blew us away at the last recital. Susan concludes that it is simply fun to teach her and watch her grow!

Meet Alice!
Instruments played: Piano
Favorite song/artist: Alice enjoys (almost) all music!
What Alice likes most about music lessons is that her instructor Susan supports her actually playing and learning on the piano for the entire lesson. She likes to practice at both the beginning and end of the day, and also whenever she is bored and has nothing else to do! Alice looks forward to being a true pianist when she is older, and believes that music can help change the world be simply making people happy. When she is not making music, Alice enjoys playing outside with friends, watching TV, painting, rollerblading, and drawing.
Alice’s instructor Susan has nothing but good things to say about her and her talent and love for playing the piano. “From the start, Alice has worked hard, practicing almost every day and it shows in her playing. She loves to work on challenging songs and she never ceases to amaze me in her determination and achievements. She is a good reader but can also figure out how to play complex songs on her own by ear. We have a lot of fun in lessons, I always look forward to teaching her.”
